Zealous Templar

Avis used to be a renowned knight, with a wondrous life of nobility and marriage awaiting him. All of it was lost in a horrendous fire that left him disfigured and his fiancée dead. After receiving no answers from the Church, he donned a mask to hide his scars and seek out the Philosopher’s Stone, a miraculous item that can restore health and youth. No matter how hard he searches for it, the Stone eludes Avis. Maybe it’s just a myth — but it’s not like he has any other choice.
